⚠️ Handling Guests Who've Declined
If you've already seated a guest and their RSVP status later changes to declined, TTO automatically flags this for you with a Guest Attendance Change notification. This lets you know that a specific guest — for example, someone sitting in seat 1.2 & a.3 — is no longer attending, even though they're still shown as seated.
To remove them from their seat:
Click the X next to their name
The guest will be instantly removed from that seat, freeing it up for someone else
This ensures no seat stays taken up by a guest who isn't actually coming, so your floor plan always reflects who's really attending.
🔍 Filtering Your Guest List
Within the Guests tab of your floor plan, you'll find the Allocate Seat section, along with a filter option that lets you control exactly how your guest list is displayed while seating.

Include filters let you narrow the list down to:
Only guests who are attending the wedding
Only guests with a specific tag
Sort options let you organize the list by:
Alphabetical order
Household
Unassigned guests
Assigned guests
💡 Tip: Want to quickly see which guests still need a seat? Choose the Unassigned sorting option — every guest without an assigned seat will move to the top of the list, making it easy to finish seating everyone.
🎉 Why This Matters
Together, these tools help keep your seating chart clean and accurate — no more wondering whether a seated guest is actually still coming, and no more scrolling to find who's left to seat.
