✅ Understanding Guest Statuses

Every guest in TTO has a status that reflects their attendance:

🟢 Attending — The guest has confirmed they’ll be at the event
🟡 Not Attending — The guest has declined
Pending — The guest hasn’t responded yet or is awaiting confirmation

Statuses update automatically when connected to RSVP, or you can adjust them manually.

✏️ Updating Guest Status Manually

You can edit a guest’s status directly from your Guestlist.

To update a guest’s status:

  • Open your Guestlist tab

  • Find the guest you want to update

  • Click the Status field next to their name

  • Choose Attending, Not Attending, or Pending

Changes save automatically.

Tip:
Only mark a guest as Attending once you’re certain — this keeps your final numbers accurate.

🔄 Automatically Updated Statuses (When RSVP Is Connected)

If your RSVP is linked through TTO:

  • Guests who accept → Attending

  • Guests who decline → Not Attending

This keeps your guestlist updated in real time without any manual work.

🔎 Filtering Guests by Status

Filters help you quickly see guests by their attendance status.

To filter by status:

  • Open the Guestlist tab

  • Click the Filter icon

  • Select Attending, Not Attending, or Pending

Great for preparing seating plans, tracking headcount, or sending reminders.

📊 Why Status Management Matters

Accurate guest statuses help you:

  • Track confirmed attendance

  • Identify guests who still need to respond

  • Finalise seating arrangements

  • Plan catering and logistics

  • Follow up with pending guests

Staying on top of statuses = smoother, stress-free event planning.
