πŸ“Š Understanding Your Seating Summary Before assigning seats, you can get a quick overview of your seating status from the Guests tab in the Floorplan:

  • Guests β€” Total number of guests on your list

  • Seats β€” Total number of seats available across all tables

  • Unseated guests β€” Guests who haven't been assigned a seat yet

  • Seated guests β€” Guests who have already been assigned a seat

  • Available seats β€” Remaining unoccupied seats

This summary helps you stay on top of your seating plan at a glance.

πŸ” Using the Guest Filter To filter guests in your seating plan:

  • Click the Filter icon from the Allocate Seats panel

  • A Guest Filter pop-up will appear with the following options:

    • Include β€” Choose which guests to display from the dropdown. This includes all your guest tags so you can filter by specific groups:

      • All guests β€” Shows every guest on your list

      • Attendance (wedding) β€” Shows only guests based on their wedding attendance status

      • A list β€” Shows only guests tagged as A list

      • B list β€” Shows only guests tagged as B list

      • Family β€” Shows only guests tagged as Family

      • And any other custom tags you have created in your guestlist

    • Sort β€” Choose how to organise your guest list:

      • Alphabetical β€” Sorts guests from A to Z for easy searching

πŸ’Ί Allocating Seats Once your filter is applied, you can assign guests to seats directly from the panel:

  • Each table is listed with individual seat numbers (e.g. 1.1, 1.2, 1.3)

  • Click the dropdown next to an Unassigned seat to open the list of guests based on your filter selection

  • Guests from the same household will appear grouped together under the primary guest's name

  • Once assigned, the guest's name will appear on the floorplan visual in real time and will show Seat 1.1 βœ… next to their name confirming the assignment

  • To remove a guest from a seat, click the X next to their name

ℹ️ Key note: All tags created in your guestlist will automatically appear in the Guest Filter dropdown making it easy to filter and seat specific groups of guests quickly and efficiently. Use All guests when building your plan from scratch, and switch to a specific tag or Attendance (wedding) when finalising your seating to stay focused and accurate.
