Learn how to organise your guests using tags and categories. Tags help you classify guests (e.g., VIP, Family, Crew), while categories make seating groups, roles and event planning easier to manage.

๐Ÿท What Are Tags?

Tags are flexible labels you can attach to guests to identify or group them quickly. Theyโ€™re ideal for filtering, segmenting and organising your guestlist.

Common examples include:

  • VIP

  • Family

  • Friends

  • Crew

  • Vendors

  • Special roles (Bridesmaid, Speaker, MC)

  • Dietary preferences (Vegan, Halal, Gluten-Free)

Tags make it simple to keep related guests together and streamline logistics.

โž• How to Add Tags to Guests

To add a tag:

  • Open your Guestlist tab

  • Click a guestโ€™s row

  • Find the Tags field

  • Type or select a tag

  • Press Enter - saved automatically

Tip:
You can assign multiple tags to a guest.

โœ๏ธ Editing or Removing Tags

To update tags anytime:

  • Click the Tags field

  • Remove tags using the X icon

  • Add new tags as needed

Great for updating roles or reorganising groups as plans evolve.

๐ŸŽ› Filtering Guests by Tag

Tags work perfectly with TTOโ€™s filtering tools.

To filter by tag:

  • Click the Filter icon

  • Select Tags

  • Choose the tag you want (e.g., VIP, Vendors, Family)

Your guestlist instantly narrows to only those matching guests.

๐Ÿ“‘ Hiding & Reordering Columns

You can customise your Guestlist layout for easier viewing.

To adjust your columns:

  • Click the Columns button

  • Hide any fields you donโ€™t need

  • Drag and reorder columns to your preferred layout

Your table updates immediately.

๐Ÿ“Š Visualising Responses

Instantly view grouped guest data to understand your event at a glance.

To visualise a column:

  • Click Visualise at the top of the column

  • See grouped totals by:

    • Attendance

    • Meal choices

    • Tags

    • Dietary needs

    • Any custom field

Perfect for quick summaries or preparing catering and seating plans.
