🪑 Assigning Guests to Tables

The Floorplan feature in TTO makes it easy to assign guests to tables once RSVPs are confirmed. Guest assignments help planners visualise seating arrangements and prepare for final layouts.

👥 Before You Start

Before assigning guests to tables, make sure:

  • Guests have been added to your guest list

  • RSVP responses have been collected (if applicable)

  • Tables have been created in the Floorplan

Assign a Guest to a Table

To assign a guest:

1️⃣ Open the wedding and go to the Floorplan section
2️⃣ Select the table you want to assign guests to
3️⃣ Choose a guest from the available guest list
4️⃣ Assign the guest to the table

The guest will now appear under that table.

🔄 Move or Swap a Guest

You can move a seated guest directly on the canvas — there is no need to unassign them first.

1️⃣ Click and hold the guest icon on the guest’s current seat
2️⃣ Drag the guest to another seat, including a seat at a different table
3️⃣ Release to place the guest in the new seat

If the destination seat is already occupied, the two guests automatically swap seats. No guest is removed from the guest list, and the other table assignments stay intact.

⚠️ Seat Count Consideration

Guests can only be assigned up to the number of seats available at a table. If a table is full, you’ll need to increase the seat count before adding more guests.

👀 Client Visibility

Guest table assignments will reflect based on the client’s visibility settings for the Floorplan.

💡 Best Practice
We recommend assigning guests to tables after RSVPs are finalised to avoid frequent changes.
