🍽️ Setting Up Catering Questions
In your RSVP questions, scroll down to the Catering section. TTO includes default questions here that are automatically connected to your floorplan:
Please choose your starter
Choose your main meal
Choose a dessert
Do you have food allergies?
Do you have dietary requirements?
⚠️ Important: Only these default catering questions sync to your floorplan. If you add a brand new custom question, it will not be connected to the floorplan.
✏️ Customizing the Default Questions
You can still edit these default questions to match your actual menu:
Remove options you don't need
Add or rename options (e.g. swapping "Scallops" for "Bruschetta")
Reword the question itself if you prefer different phrasing
Just make your changes and click Save - the question stays connected to the floorplan as long as you're editing the existing default question rather than creating a new one.
📝 What Guests Experience During RSVP
When a guest RSVPs and indicates they have an allergy, providing details of that allergy becomes a required field — they can't skip past it without specifying what the allergy is.
Once submitted, this information automatically populates in your guest list, including their:
Starter, main, and dessert selections
Allergy details
Dietary requirements
Accessibility needs
🪑 Syncing to Your Floorplan
Once a guest is seated in your floorplan, their catering info travels with them. When exporting your floorplan, you can choose which meal info to include in the export:
Starter information
Main meal information
Dessert information
📌 Note: Allergy and intolerance information is always included in the export, regardless of which meal course you choose to show.
Guests with an allergy are visually flagged (e.g. marked in red) in the export, with their specific allergy, dietary requirements, and accessibility needs listed. This information is also available when viewing all guests in alphabetical order.
