📐 Resizing a Table
Getting the right table size is essential for accurate floorplan scaling. Here's how to resize a table:
Click on the table you want to resize on the canvas to select it.
Navigate to the Design tab in the inspector panel on the right side.
Under Position and Size, you will see the dimension fields where you can enter your preferred measurements.
Simply adjust the values - changes will update immediately on the canvas so you can see the result in real time.
💡 Important Note: The square icon that appears on the table is used for rotating the table only. Do not confuse this with resizing - to resize, always go to the Design tab.
🪑 Adjusting Seat Size
Once your table is the right size, you may also want to adjust the seat sizes to match. Here's how:
With the table still selected, scroll down in the inspector to find the Seat Size section.
You can adjust the seat size values in two ways:
Use the up and down arrow controls to incrementally increase or decrease the size.
Or manually type in a number for a more precise adjustment.
Make sure to update both sides of the table where applicable to keep the seating balanced and consistent.
🔵 Round vs. 🟦 Square/Rectangular Tables
Different table shapes have different sizing options in TTO:
🔵 Round tables have a single size setting that adjusts the diameter evenly all around, keeping the circular shape consistent.
🟦 Square/Rectangular tables have separate width and height controls, giving you more flexibility to customise the exact dimensions for each side of the table. For example, you can set the height to 75 while keeping the width at a different value to create a rectangular layout.
💡 Pro Tips
✔️ Always double-check your table and seat sizes against your actual venue dimensions to ensure accuracy.
✔️ Use the real-time preview on the canvas to see how changes look before finalising your layout.
✔️ If you're creating a contingency floorplan, you can duplicate your existing one and adjust the sizes without affecting the original.
✅ And that's it! Resizing tables and seats in TTO is quick and easy once you know where to look. If you have any further questions or need assistance, don't hesitate to reach out to us - we're always happy to help! 😊
