📤 Uploading Your Floorplan Image

You can upload a PDF, PNG, JPG, or scanned copy of your venue’s layout.

To upload an image:

• Click Upload from the toolbar
• Select your file
• Crop out any unnecessary white space
• Save your image
• Move or rotate the image on your canvas

Once the image is in place, open the Inspector and choose Lock Image so you don’t accidentally move it while designing.

📏 Setting the Correct Scale

Setting the scale is essential - it ensures your tables, chairs, walkways, and design elements match real-life proportions.

Here’s how to scale your image:
• Find a reference line in the drawing that includes a real measurement
• Zoom in until the line is clear
• Select your image, then click Set Scale in the Inspector
• Click once at the start of the line and once at the end to place the yellow ruler
• Enter the exact measurement using the same unit (cm, m, ft, etc.)
• Confirm to automatically resize the image to true scale

Once scaled correctly, every piece of furniture will fit proportionately on your layout.

🪑 Adding Tables, Chairs & Furniture

Your furniture library gives you everything you need to design your layout.

From the Inspector’s Furniture tab, you can add:
• Round, square & banquet tables
• Ceremony chairs
• Sofas, armchairs, loveseats
• Speakers, monitors & AV items
• Electrical symbols (outlets, generators)
• Venue elements like doors & restrooms
• Decorative items like plants

Simply drag items to your canvas and customise their:
• Size
• Rotation
• Number of seats
• Name or label
• Dimensions (including chair size)

You can personalise your layout as much as you need.

🧩 Moving Groups of Furniture

Need to rearrange several tables at once?
Hold Shift and select multiple items - then drag them together.
This is perfect for repositioning entire sections quickly.

🪑 Adjusting the Number of Seats

Your tables are fully customisable.

For rectangular & square tables:
• Adjust the number of chairs on each side
• Set the ends to zero (banquette style)

For round tables:
• Set table diameter
• Adjust the total seat count

You can also drag individual chairs from the library and resize or rotate each one.
Tables and chairs number automatically, but you can rename them anytime in the Inspector.

🎤 Adding Bars, Dance Floors & Custom Areas

Use the Shape tool to draw custom areas like:
• Dance floor
• Bar
• Lounge corner
• Buffet or food station
• Ceremony area
• Kids’ play zone

Use the Label tool to place text anywhere on the canvas.
These tools help you highlight important venue features and create a complete, informative layout.

🔒 Locking Items Before Sharing

Before your client, planner, or partner views the layout, lock your items to prevent accidental changes.
Open Settings, choose what to lock (tables, chairs, images), and save.

👤 Assigning Guests to Seats

Open the Guest tab to allocate your guests. You will see:
• Total seats vs. expected guests
• How many seats are filled
• Filters to show only guests attending this event
• Search to find guests quickly

Assigning guests is easy:
• Use the dropdown beside each seat
• Or drag and drop names directly onto seats

All guest information syncs with your main Guestlist, including:
• Allergies
• Meal choices
• Dietary requirements

If a guest is removed from your Guestlist, they are automatically removed from the floorplan too.
