🖨️ Export Your Floor Plan
To export your floor plan, open the export modal and choose the format that best fits your needs. You now have two export options depending on how you plan to use your file.
When exporting, you’ll be able to choose:
• The export content (PDF or Canvas tiles)
• The meal course to display (for PDF exports)
• Orientation (portrait or landscape)
• Paper size and layout
• Whether you’d like to preview the file before downloading
💡 Important Note :Large exports may take longer to process. Increasing image quality or the number of tiles will also increase processing time and file size.
📄 Full Floor Plan PDF
The PDF export creates a complete, structured version of your floor plan designed for planning and coordination.
Your PDF includes:
• The full floor plan layout
• Table numbers and seating assignments
• Guest meal choices (starter, main, or dessert)
• A multi-page format suitable for sharing or printing
This option is best used when you need seating and meal details for vendors or final confirmations.
🧩 Canvas Only – Tiled for Large Prints
This option is designed for larger floor plans where clarity is important when zooming or printing.
Instead of exporting one large file, your floor plan is split into multiple tiles (one per page), allowing you to zoom in and view all details clearly.
Your tiled export includes:
• High-resolution sections of your floor plan
• Clear and readable text when zoomed in
• Numbered tiles for easy assembly when printed
This is best used when:
• Your floor plan is large or detailed
• You need to zoom in and read guest names clearly
• You want to print and assemble a large-format layout
✨ Choosing the Right Export
• Use PDF – Full floor plan with table details when you need a complete overview with guest and meal information
• Use Canvas only, tiled for large prints when you need high clarity and readability for larger layouts
Note: Export performance also depends on your device’s memory and processing power. For best results, close other applications and use a device with sufficient performance when exporting complex floor plans.

Your export isn’t just a simple layout - it’s a fully structured, multi-page document designed for real wedding planning.
📍 Page 1: Full Floorplan Overview
The first page shows your entire floorplan, with seats colour-coded based on the main meal selections. This gives your caterers and venue an instant understanding of the entire room.
📊 Page 2: Summary Page
This page includes a clear breakdown of:
• Total number of guests
• Number of tables
• Total number of seats
• Meal counts
• Highlighted allergies or dietary restrictions (including table location)
Perfect for venues and catering teams.
🔤 Page 3: Alphabetical Guest List
An alphabetical list of every guest - ideal for:
• Place cards
• Escort cards
• Seating check-in
• Helping guests locate their seat
🍽️ Page 4+: Table-by-Table Breakdown
Each table includes:
• Guests listed in seat order
• Meal codes
• Special notes
🔍 Zoomed Table View
Every table has a zoomed-in version showing a colour-coded key so staff know exactly where guests with dietary needs are sitting.
A full example export can be downloaded inside the tool.
🧩 How Tiled Export Works
The image below shows how your floor plan is divided when using the “Canvas only, tiled for large prints” option.
Instead of exporting one full layout, the system splits your floor plan into multiple sections (tiles). Each numbered section (1, 2, 3, 4) represents a separate page in your export.
This means:
• Each tile is exported in high resolution
• You can zoom into each section clearly without losing quality
• Guest names and details remain readable
The blue grid lines show how the layout is divided, and the numbers indicate the order of the pages.
