Keeping your guest count accurate starts with getting your RSVP settings right. The Advanced RSVP settings give you full control over whether guests can bring a plus one or children, and exactly how those options appear when guests fill out their RSVP — so you avoid surprises on the day.

Under Can guests bring a plus one?, you can choose between two approaches:
👤 Only if specified in my guestlist
Only guests who already have a plus one designated in your guest list will see this option during RSVP. Everyone else won't be prompted at all. This is the more controlled option - ideal if you've already decided exactly who's allowed a plus one and want to lock that in.
📌 Note: To designate a plus one for a specific guest, you'll need to set this up in your guest list beforehand - this setting only controls how the RSVP behaves, not who's eligible. ➕ Allow guests to add plus-ones
Every guest will be asked whether they're bringing a plus one, up to whatever limit you've set. This hands the decision over to your guests during RSVP.
📌 Note: When a guest adds a plus one through the RSVP process, the plus one is automatically linked to the primary guest as part of the same household in the Guest List. This allows both guests to be managed together while keeping their RSVP information associated with the primary guest.

Only guests who already have a child or baby tag in your guest list will see this option - everyone else won't be prompted at all. This is the most controlled approach, ideal if you've already worked out exactly which families are bringing little ones and want that locked in ahead of time.

Every guest will be asked whether they're bringing babies - children aren't included as a separate option here. This works well if you're comfortable welcoming babies across the board, but want to keep older children out of the head count for now (e.g. if you're planning an adults-only reception).

💡 Tip: If you're hosting an adults-only wedding, double-check this setting is aligned with your intentions - choosing "Allow babies and children" when you meant to restrict attendance could lead to unexpected additions to your final count.
