🇺🇸 Why You May Want to Change the Default Country

If your event is based in the USA but the TTO RSVP form shows the UK flag (+44) by default, some guests may:

  • Forget to switch the country code

  • Enter their number incorrectly

  • Fail to match the correct guest party

  • Appear as manual entries in your dashboard

Setting the correct default country code solves this instantly.

🔧 How to Update the Default Country Code

To change your event's default country code to the USA:

  1. Go to your TTO Settings section.

  2. Look for the Country setting (displayed with a flag icon).

  3. Change it to the USA flag (+1).

  4. Save your changes.

Once updated, your RSVP form will automatically display +1 United States as the default country code for all guests.

💵 Optional: Update the Currency

While you are in Settings, you can also update the currency to US dollars ($) if you prefer. This affects any payable features or monetary displays within your event.

✔️ After Updating

Guests visiting the RSVP page will now see the U.S. country code by default, which helps:

  • Ensure correct RSVP matching

  • Reduce manual entries

  • Streamline your guest management

If the couple still can’t update the country from their end, they can share their event link with support so the team can verify the settings on their behalf.
