๐ซ How to Turn Off the RSVP Page Completely
If you want to stop all new submissions and edits, you can turn off the RSVP page entirely.
To do this:
Go to your Event Website settings
Open the RSVP page
Locate the RSVP toggle
Switch it OFF
๐ What guests will see
The RSVP form becomes unavailable, and guests cannot submit or edit their response.
๐ฌ Optional: Add a custom closure message
You can show a note like:
โโOur RSVP deadline has passed. Please contact us directly for any changes.โ
This can be added in the RSVP pageโs Custom Text section.
๐๏ธ Understanding RSVP Deadlines on TTO
The RSVP deadline is a visual cutoff for your guests and helps guide them through the process.
What it does
๐ Shows the deadline on the RSVP page
โณ Lets guests know when the RSVP window closes
๐ Works together with the RSVP lock setting to stop edits
โ ๏ธ Important: Setting a deadline alone does not close the RSVP. You must also enable the RSVP lock.
โ Stop Accepting Responses Automatically You can control when your RSVP form stops accepting responses using automatic conditions. The form will close when either of the following is met:
Deadline date is reached
Maximum number of participants is reached (this includes plus-ones)
You can enable one or both options depending on your event needs. This is especially useful for managing venue capacity and ensuring you don't exceed your guest limit.
๐ How Guests Can Edit Their RSVP (Before Itโs Closed)
If your RSVP is open, guests can:
โ๏ธ Change attendance
๐ฝ๏ธ Update meal selections
๐ Add notes or dietary requirements
โ Modify plus-one information
They simply return to your RSVP link and select Edit RSVP.
If everything looks correct and the RSVP is still editable, contact support and weโll happily check the setup for you.
