🆕 New Timeline Improvements: Introduction Item & Share Toggle

Timeline now supports a dedicated Introduction item, using the same rich text editor available elsewhere in TTO.

📝 New: Introduction Item

  1. Add formatting like bold, italics, strikethrough, underline, text color, bullet or numbered lists, images, and tables

  2. Use this to add a welcome message, key notes, or context at the top of your timeline before the day-by-day breakdown begins

💡 Tip: This is a great spot to add a short note for vendors or collaborators viewing your shared timeline — like a summary of the day or any special instructions.

🔘 New: Share Toggle on the Introduction Item

The Introduction item includes its own Share toggle.

  • Open your Introduction item

  • In the top right, you'll see a Share toggle next to the delete (trash) icon

  • Turn this on if you'd like the Introduction included when your timeline is shared, or off to keep it excluded

👀 What This Looks Like When Shared

When someone opens your shared timeline link, any item with its Share toggle turned on will appear at the top — including your Introduction, if enabled. Items with the toggle left off won't show up in the shared view at all, so you're always in control of exactly what recipients see.

💡 Tip: Turning on the Introduction's Share toggle is a simple way to give vendors or clients context right at the top of the timeline before they scroll into the day-by-day details.

🔁 Reusing Your Introduction Across Weddings

If you tend to use a similar introduction for multiple weddings, you can save it as a template so it's ready to reuse instead of rebuilding it each time. More on how templates work in this article under Timeline template
