✏️ Editing, Printing, or Saving a Note as PDF

Need to update a note, or export it to print, share, or keep for your records? Here's how to do both.

✏️ Editing a Note

Need to make changes to a note after it's created? From the note's page, click Edit in the top right (next to Print / Save as PDF).

From here, you can update:

  • Title — change the note's title at any time

  • Cover image — upload or update a cover image for the note

  • Category — search or create a category to help organise your notes

  • Restrictions — control visibility/access to the note

  • Content — use the rich text editor to update the note's text, formatting, images, or tables

  • Attachment — add a file on its own, or pair it with your note; files appear below your content

📌 Note: You can also click Save as template while editing if you'd like to reuse this note's structure for future events, or Delete if you no longer need the note.

📄 Exporting Your Note as PDF

  • Open Notes from the left sidebar

  • Click into the note you'd like to export

  • Click Print / Save as PDF in the top right

  1. A preview window will open showing your note formatted as a PDF, including the title, date, and content

  2. Click Download at the bottom to save the file to your device

💡 Tip: From this same preview window, you can also print directly using the printer icon in the toolbar, if you'd rather print a hard copy instead of saving a file.

🧭 Why This Matters

📌 Note: Exporting a note as a PDF makes it easy to share important details outside of TTO — whether that's forwarding vendor information to a colleague, printing a physical copy for a day-of binder, or keeping an offline record of a key decision or conversation.

This is especially useful for notes tied to time-sensitive details (like vendor calls, client requests, or day-of logistics) that you may want on hand even without access to your TTO dashboard — for example, printed out for a wedding day timeline binder.
