✨ What it does
Ceremony chairs let you drop in a pre-built seating layout instead of placing chairs one by one. Once added, adjust rows, sections, spacing, and curvature — then assign guests directly to each seat.
🔗 How to add ceremony seating
Open your event's Floor Plan
In the right panel, go to the Library tab
Under Ceremony chairs, pick a layout
Click the + next to the layout to add it — or drag and drop the layout directly onto your floor plan
Available layouts:
Layout | Seats |
Straight with aisle | 120 |
Chevron with aisle | 120 |
Arched with aisle | 120 |
Amphitheater with aisle | 120 |
Straight rows | 60 |
Separate sections | 120 |
📌 Note: These are starting seat counts — adjust after adding the layout to your plan.
⚙️ Adjusting the layout
Select the seating block, then switch to the Design tab:
Basics
Label — rename the block (e.g. "Ceremony seating")
Position & Rotation — move or rotate on your floor plan, or drag the block directly to reposition it
Layout
Seats per row / Sections — control row width and grouping
Row step — adds extra seats to every row behind the first
Shape
Curvature — arches the rows into a curve
Angle — folds rows into a chevron (only applies when Curvature is 0)
Spacing (cm)
Seat gap, Row gap, Seat size
💡 Tip: Use Row step for a fanned or theater-style layout where back rows are wider.
📌 Note: When Curvature is set above 0, the Angle field becomes inactive and shows a warning: "Angle is not used while Curvature is above 0." Set Curvature back to 0 first if you want to use Angle instead.
📝 Assigning guests to seats
Scroll to Manage seats to filter and assign guests:
Include — choose which guests appear in seat dropdowns
Sort — order the list (e.g. Unassigned first)
Use the Seat / Guest table to assign guests via the dropdown, or drag and drop a guest's name onto a seat
Remove an assigned guest with the 🚫 icon
🛠️ Troubleshooting
Seats not showing guest names — check your Include filter isn't excluding them.
Layout looks uneven — check Curvature and Angle aren't both set; Angle only applies when Curvature is 0.
