📩 Sending E-Cards to Specific Guest Groups Using Tags

Want to send an e-card to just one group of guests - like your A-list? Here's how to use tags to target exactly who you need.

Written by Nina Dobrev

🏷️ Step 1: Tag Your Guests

  • Make sure the guests you want to target already have a tag applied in the Tags column of your guest list (e.g. "A-list")

✉️ Step 2: Create Your E-Card

  • Go to E-Card and create a new card

  • On the right-hand panel, you'll see Quick Select Guests

  • You can select guests by attendance status (handy later for things like "not yet responded"), or by tag

  • Select your tag (e.g. "A-list") — matching guests are automatically selected for you

📌 Note: If any selected guests don't have an email address on file, you won't be able to skip ahead — you'll see a message telling you how many guests are missing email info.

🔗 Step 3: Handle Missing Emails

You've got two options here:

  • No email needed: Use Skip and Share Link to send guests a URL instead

  • Want to email them: Add the missing email address directly in that step — this also saves it back to your guest list, so it's there for next time

🚀 Step 4: Send

  • Once everyone has an email (or you've chosen to share via link), draft your message and click Send Your E-Card to Guests

💡 Tip: Adding an email address during this flow updates your guest list automatically — no need to go back and edit it separately.
