🏷️ Using Labels in the Vendors Section

The Labels feature in the Vendors section allows you to tag and filter your vendors more efficiently. Labels give you an extra layer of organisation on top of Categories - making it easier to find and manage the right vendors for each wedding.

🔍 Filtering Vendors by Label At the top of the Vendors page, you'll find a Labels filter dropdown alongside Status and Category filters. Simply click the Labels dropdown to filter your vendor list by a specific label (e.g. Food, Makeup, Miscellaneous). This instantly narrows down your vendors to only those matching the selected label.

✏️ Adding Labels to a Vendor To add a label to a vendor:

  • Open the vendor and click Edit

  • Under the General section, locate the Labels field

  • Click the dropdown to search or select from your existing labels (e.g. Catering, Food, Makeup, Miscellaneous)

  • You can assign multiple labels to a single vendor

  • Click Save to confirm

You can also click Manage labels at the bottom of the dropdown to manage all your labels from one place, or type in the search bar to create a new label on the spot.

You can also click this link, which will take you directly to the instructions on how to create and manage your own vendor labels from the Settings page.

👁️ Viewing Vendor Labels Once labels are assigned, they will appear directly on the vendor's profile under the Labels field - making it easy for your team to see at a glance what services each vendor provides.

💡 Why Use Labels? - Multiple Services, One Vendor

One of the biggest advantages of Labels is the ability to assign multiple labels to a single vendor - meaning you never have to create duplicate profiles for the same company.

💡 Why Use Labels? — Multiple Services, One Vendor

One of the biggest advantages of Labels is the ability to assign multiple labels to a single vendor - meaning you never have to create duplicate profiles for the same company.

For example:

  • For example, Silver Spoon Event is categorised under Catering but can also be tagged with a Food label - because the same vendor handles both services. Instead of creating two separate vendor entries for the same company, everything is managed under one profile. This way, whether you filter by Food or Catering, Silver Spoon Event will always show up in the right place.

This saves you time, keeps your vendor list clean, and ensures all relevant information stays in one place. Simply assign as many labels as needed to each vendor and filter by any of them at any time!

💡 Pro Tip: Labels are perfect for vendors that offer multiple services - instead of creating separate profiles for the same company, simply assign multiple labels to one vendor profile. This way, the vendor will show up whenever you filter by any of their assigned labels - keeping your vendor list clean, organised, and easy to manage!
