⭐ How do I mark hotels as recommended?

You can highlight up to three hotels as recommended.

To do this:

  1. Go to the Accommodations page

  2. Select your preferred hotels

  3. Click the heart icon to mark them as recommended

Note: Once selected, these hotels will be prioritized for your guests.

ā— Why can I only select up to three recommended hotels?

You can choose a maximum of three recommended hotels to keep options clear and focused for guests.

Once three hotels are selected:
• The heart icons on other hotels will be disabled (grayed out)
• You’ll need to unselect one before choosing another

šŸ” How do guests view recommended hotels?

Guests can use the ā€œRecommendedā€ filter on the Accommodations page.

When selected, it will display only the hotels personally recommended by the host — not by the platform.

This helps guests quickly identify the options you’ve chosen and trust for their stay.

šŸ† What is the ā€œMost Bookedā€ label?

The Most Booked label highlights the hotel with the highest number of bookings among your selected hotels for the event.

This helps guests quickly see which option is the most popular choice within your curated list.

šŸŽÆ What filters are available for guests?

Guests can filter accommodation options based on:

• Recommended — hotels selected by the host
• Most Booked — most popular choice among selected hotels
• Budget Friendly — more affordable stays
• Closest to Venue — convenient location options

These filters help guests quickly find accommodations that suit their preferences.

šŸ’” Why use recommended hotels?

Marking recommended hotels helps you:
• Guide guests toward preferred options
• Highlight trusted or convenient stays
• Simplify decision-making for guests

With recommended hotels and smart filters, guests can easily find the best place to stay — while you stay in control of the experience.

šŸ“§ How do I stop accommodation emails being sent to guests?

If you don’t want guests to receive emails about accommodation (such as reminders or booking prompts), you can disable this in your settings.

How to turn off accommodation emails

  • Go to your Accommodation settings

  • Find ā€œAllow accommodation remindersā€

  • Uncheck this option

What happens when this is turned off?

Once disabled:
• Guests will no longer receive reminder emails
• No accommodation booking prompts will be sent
• Venue or hotel suggestion emails will stop

Can I turn emails back on later?

Yes — you can re-enable ā€œAllow accommodation remindersā€ at any time.

šŸ‘„ Who actually receives accommodation reminder emails?

Reminders are only sent to guests who have already RSVP'd yes to your event. Guests who haven't submitted their RSVP yet, or who haven't responded at all, will not receive any accommodation reminder emails — even if "Allow accommodation reminders" is switched on.

šŸ“Œ Note: This means these emails aren't sent broadly to your entire guest list — only to confirmed attendees.
