🌍 Part 1: Set Your Currencies

🌍 Part 1: Set Your Currencies

TTO allows you to track your budget in multiple currencies while keeping your main overview in your preferred default currency.

Here’s how to set it up:

  • Open your Budget Settings

  • Choose your default currency (e.g., USD, GBP, AED)

  • Click Add additional currency

  • Add your preferred currencies and exchange rates

Example:

  • USD = 1

  • EUR = 0.96

  • GBP = 0.81

Once additional currencies are added in the Budget Settings, they will automatically become available in your main Budget dashboard currency selector.

Your conversions and totals will then update automatically throughout the budget.

💡 Budget Tip: Set your main currency and overall budget goal first, then build out your categories and estimated costs before tracking actual payments. This gives you a clearer picture of where your money is going as planning progresses.

💡 Budget Tip: Start by setting your main currency and overall budget goal first. Then organise your categories and add estimated costs before tracking actual payments - this makes it much easier to understand where your money is going throughout the planning process.

🎯 Part 2: Set Your Budget Goal

You can set your total wedding budget by:
• Clicking the budget goal field
• Typing your amount
• Saving your entry

This helps you track how your actual costs compare to your goal as planning progresses.

🗂️ Part 3: Customizing Your Budget Structure

Tailor your budget sheet to fit your wedding:

  • Hide items in the Settings tab by clicking the eye icon

  • Reorder items by dragging and dropping using the dots beside each name

  • Enter estimated costs directly into the sheet once your structure is finalized

This gives you a budget layout built around your event.

📊 Part 4: Managing Columns

Under Settings → Columns, you can control which columns are shown on your budget sheet.

  • Toggle the eye icon next to a column to show or hide it

  • Currently, TTO supports the Estimate column, which can be shown or hidden as needed

📌 Note: Adding custom columns beyond Estimate isn't currently supported. If you'd like to see additional column options in the future, you're welcome to submit a feature request.

🤝 Part 5: Tracking Vendors & Payments

Your budget stays accurate automatically as you add vendors and payments:

✔️ Vendors confirmed in the Vendors tab appear in your budget instantly
✔️ Payment milestones sync directly with your budget to show what's due, paid, or upcoming

No double entry needed - everything updates in real time.

📝 Part 6: Adding Notes

Use the Notes column to capture helpful details like:

  • Payment instructions

  • Special agreements

  • Additional fees

  • Important reminders

This keeps key context in one easy-to-find place alongside your numbers.
