📝 Adding Notes to a Lead
📝 Adding Notes to a Lead
Keep track of important context right alongside the lead itself — no more jotting things down elsewhere and losing track of which lead they belonged to.
✏️ Creating a Note
Open the Notes section on the lead's page
Use the rich text editor's toolbar to format your note as needed — bold, italics, strikethrough, underline, text color, headings, bullet or numbered lists, and even images or tables
Type your note directly in the text box (e.g. "Add a notes here!")
Click Save once you're done
📌 Note: Notes support full rich text formatting — bold, italics, lists, links, images, and tables — so you can capture as much detail as you need, whether it's a quick reminder or a longer summary from a call.
📏 Writing Longer Notes
If you're adding a lot of text, the Notes box grows to fit your content up to a point, then switches to an internal scrollbar instead of continuing to push the rest of the page down. This keeps the lead's page compact and easy to navigate, even with a lengthy note.
💾 New: Autosave
You no longer need to click Save every time — your changes are now saved automatically as you type.
As you edit a note, you'll see a confirmation in the bottom right that says "All changes saved" once your edits are captured
No need to manually click a save button anymore, or worry about losing your notes if you navigate away
💡 Tip: This makes it easier to jot things down quickly during a call or meeting without breaking your flow to remember to save.
📋 Managing Questionnaires from a Lead
📋 Managing Questionnaires from a Lead
You can now add and manage Questionnaires directly on a lead, the same way you would elsewhere in TTO - no need to create a lead's questionnaire separately and link it back manually.
➕ Creating a Questionnaire
Click Add Questionnaire to see your options:
Import Template — bring in an existing questionnaire template, so you're not rebuilding the same set of questions each time
Add Questionnaire — build a new one from scratch, tailored specifically to this lead
Once created, the questionnaire is tied directly to that lead — ready to send out as part of your lead qualification process, without jumping to a separate section of the platform.
⚙️ Managing an Existing Questionnaire
Once a questionnaire exists on the lead, click the ••• menu next to it to:
Edit — make changes to its content, questions, or structure
Create a new copy — duplicate it as a starting point for another questionnaire, saving you from rebuilding it from scratch
Delete — remove it entirely if it's no longer needed
📌 Note: Each questionnaire also shows its Status (e.g. Published) and Expiration date, so you can track things at a glance - no need to open it just to check where it stands.
💡 Tip: Managing Questionnaires directly from the lead keeps your qualification process organized per-client, especially useful if you're juggling several leads with different requirements at once.
📄 Creating Proposals from a Lead
📄 Creating Proposals from a Lead
Proposals can now be built and managed directly from the lead as well — no need to jump elsewhere in the platform to put a proposal together for a prospective client.
➕ Creating a Proposal
Click Add Proposal to choose between:
Import Template — start from an existing proposal template, so you're not rebuilding your standard pricing and services from scratch each time
Create Proposal — build a new one from the ground up, tailored specifically to this lead
Once created, the proposal is tied directly to that lead, giving you a clear line from first inquiry through to a sent (and eventually signed) proposal, all in one place.
💬 Leaving Internal Feedback
Each proposal also includes a Comments section, so your team can leave internal notes or feedback directly alongside it — no need to discuss changes over a separate channel and lose track of what was said.
📌 Note: Comments are internal only — they're for your team's use and won't be visible to the lead or client.
💡 Tip: Building Notes, Questionnaires, and Proposals right from the lead keeps everything about that client in one place — no more jumping between sections to piece together their full picture. This is especially valuable early in the pipeline, when you're still trying to convert a lead into a confirmed booking.
🎯 Why This Matters
Together, Notes, Questionnaires, and Proposals turn a lead's page into a complete working file for that client — from your first conversation, through qualifying their needs, to sending the proposal that gets them booked. Instead of piecing together context from separate sections of the platform, everything you need to move a lead forward lives in one place, right where you're already working.
