🛠️ How to Edit a Response
Open the Lead in your Leads Pipeline
You'll see two main sections: Details (First Name, Last Name, Email) and Form Responses (the actual questions the client answered — wedding date, venue, quoted amount, last contacted date, how they heard about you, etc.)
Click into any field to edit it directly
Type your correction and the field updates immediately
This works the same way whether you're fixing a simple typo in a name or email, or updating something more substantial — like a revised quoted amount after a follow-up call, or correcting a wedding date the client later changed.
👀 Viewing Longer Client Responses
If a client submits a longer response to a question, the full answer will still be available from the planner's view. When you open and view the lead's Form Responses, the response will automatically become visible so you can review the complete answer without losing any of the information the client submitted.
🗑️ Removing an Answer
If a field no longer applies, was filled in by mistake, or you'd simply rather leave it blank, you can clear it out entirely instead of leaving inaccurate or outdated info sitting on the lead.
📌 Note: Edits here update the lead's internal record only — the client isn't notified, and nothing gets resent or re-triggered on their end. This is meant purely for keeping your own records accurate.
🧭 Why This Matters
Leads often evolve after that first form submission — venues change, quotes get revised, contact details get updated. Instead of leaving stale info on record or tracking corrections separately, you can now make sure every lead in your Pipeline reflects the most current, accurate picture of the client.
💡 Tip: Get in the habit of updating a lead's Form Responses right after a call or follow-up — that way your Leads Pipeline always stays a reliable source of truth, not just a snapshot of the client's very first submission.
Editing a lead's answers is just one part of a bigger set of pipeline improvements. Once you're comfortable managing a lead's Form Responses, take a look at everything else you can now do directly from a lead's page:
