📥 How to Import
Go to your wedding's Timeline section
Click Import
Select Import from file
Click Choose file and upload your existing timeline
TTO will draft timeline events based on your file for you to review before they're added
📌 Note: Imported events are drafted for your review first — nothing is added to your Timeline automatically until you confirm.
🆚 Import from File vs. Import from Templates
TTO's Import menu offers two options:
Import from templates — use TTO's built-in or your own saved timeline templates
Import from file — upload your own existing timeline (e.g. a run-of-show doc or spreadsheet you already had before joining TTO)
Use whichever fits your situation — templates if you want a structured starting point, or file import if you already have your own timeline you'd rather bring over.
✏️ Reviewing Imported Events
Once your file is uploaded, TTO drafts timeline events based on its contents. Before anything is finalized, you can:
Review each drafted event
Edit event names, times, or details
Remove any events that don't apply
Confirm to add them to your Timeline
💡 Tip: This is a great option if you're migrating from another planning tool or spreadsheet — you won't need to manually re-enter your existing run-of-show.
