🔍 Why This Happens
Hotels showing as sold out on your Accommodation page is often not because the hotel is actually fully booked
Most of the time, it's because your booking dates are too far in advance, and the hotel simply hasn't released those specific rooms for sale yet
This is a common pattern with hotels — many don't open bookings for a given date until a certain number of months out, so a "sold out" status early on doesn't necessarily reflect true availability
📌 Note: This is expected behavior, especially if your wedding is still many months away. It doesn't mean the hotel is unavailable for your dates — just that it hasn't opened bookings yet.
✅ What To Do
Check back 6–10 months before your booking date — this is typically the window when hotels start releasing rooms for booking
If you check within that window and the hotel is still showing as sold out, it's more likely genuinely unavailable at that point, rather than just not yet released
💡 Tip: If a hotel isn't showing availability on TTO but rooms are available elsewhere (like Booking.com), TTO will automatically link you through to that site so you can still book directly — no need to manually search around.
📌 Note: Availability and pricing can shift daily as other guests book rooms, so if you're eyeing a specific hotel, it's worth checking back periodically rather than just once.
💡 Tip: Encourage your guests to book earlier rather than later, especially for popular dates (peak wedding season, holidays) — rooms at nearby hotels can fill up quickly once they are released.
