✨ Why Get a Custom Domain?
By default, your wedding website is live at a TTO subdomain (e.g. https://sample-wedding.thatstheone.com). Upgrading to a custom domain gives you a more personalised and memorable URL (e.g. sample-wedding.com) that you can share with guests or add to paper invites.
🛒 How to Purchase a Custom Domain
There are three ways to get started:
🖥️ Option 1 — From the Website page
Go to your Website section in TTO
You'll see a banner at the top showing your current site URL and an available custom domain with its price (e.g. sample-wedding.com is available for $99/yr)
Click Get it to begin the purchase
🔗 Option 2 — From the Share button
Click the Share button at the top right of your Website page
Under "Want a custom domain your guests will remember?", you'll see available domain options:
🌍 .com — $99/yr
💜 .love — $149/yr
💍 .wedding — $149/yr
Click Get it next to your preferred domain to proceed
⚙️ Option 3 — From Settings
Go to Settings and click on Domain
You'll see your current active subdomain (e.g. sample-wedding.thatstheone.com — Free subdomain)
Click Buy a custom domain + to begin the purchase process
From here, you can search for your desired custom domain name and check its availability across different extensions (e.g. .com, .love, .wedding) — making it easy to find the perfect domain that suits your wedding style
Once you've found the one you like, simply click Get it to proceed with the purchase

📋 Completing Your Purchase
Once you click Get it or Buy a custom domain, a Complete purchase window will open with 4 steps:
1️⃣ Select — confirm your chosen domain
2️⃣ Details — fill in your contact information (name, email, phone, address)
3️⃣ Pay — enter your payment details
4️⃣ Confirm — review and complete your purchase
📌 Note: Auto-renew is enabled by default, renewing your domain annually at the same price. You can toggle this off during the purchase if preferred.
🎉 After Purchasing
Once your domain is active, your wedding website will be accessible via your new custom URL. You can also share it directly with guests or download a 📱 QR code to add to save-the-dates or paper invites.
Your custom domain will only go live once your wedding website is published. If your site isn't published yet, purchase your domain now and it will automatically connect once you hit Publish.
