Managing Domain Settings

This feature gives you flexibility in customizing your event link, whether you prefer using a free subdomain or upgrading to a personalized custom domain.

From your Event Dashboard:

Click Settings
Select Domain

You will see your current domain listed (for example: your-event.thatstheone.com)
Choose the default domain to be used when generating links such as RSVP and website links

By default, your event is assigned a free subdomain (for example: adam-and eve.thatstheone.com).

This is automatically created when your event is set up
It is fully functional and ready to use
You can share this link directly with guests

If you would like a more personalized experience, you can purchase a custom domain directly within the platform.

To do this:

Go to the Domain section in Settings
Click Buy a custom domain
Enter your preferred domain name
Click Search
Review the available options
Click Buy next to your selected domain

Once purchased, you can set it as your default domain.

Your custom domain will be connected to your event website
You can use it instead of your free subdomain
All generated links (such as RSVP, Ecard, accommodation and website links) will use your selected default domain.

Using a custom domain helps you:

Create a more personalized and branded event experience
Make your link easier for guests to remember
Present a more polished and professional website

Always make sure the correct domain is selected as your default, as this will be used when generating all event-related links.

If you have multiple domains, double-check your selection before sharing links with guests.
