📝 Add Location Details
Use the Map section to display your venue’s location on an interactive map. This helps guests quickly see where your event is and how to get there.
You can set your location using latitude and longitude coordinates for precise placement on the map.
🔎 Find a Location Instantly
Simply start typing the name of your venue, hotel, airport, or any other place directly into the Search for a place field — TTO will find it and automatically fill in the exact coordinates for you. No need to look anything up separately; just search, select the right match, and you're done.
📌 Note: Make sure to select the match from the dropdown that appears as you type (e.g. "The Peninsula manila") — this is what populates the Location field with the correct coordinates. Typing the name alone isn't enough; the match needs to be clicked/selected before it'll register.
🧭 Enter Coordinates Manually
Need a more exact pin, or can't find your venue in the search? You can type the coordinates in yourself:
Find your venue on Google Maps and copy its coordinates (e.g. 14.555378, -121.025242)
Paste the first number into the Latitude field
Paste the second number into the Longitude field
Check the pin in the live preview, then click Save
⚠️ Important: If a coordinate has a minus sign (e.g. -6.987654), enter it exactly as shown, including the minus.
💡 Tip: Coordinates are the most reliable option for rural venues or places that share a name with somewhere else. More help here: Fixing Map Location Issues
Once your location is set, you can also choose a Category (e.g. Airport, Hotel) to help the pin display correctly on the map.
👁️ Control Visibility for Your Guests
Use the Show section toggle to decide whether the Map section is visible on your live website. When enabled, guests will be able to access it from your website navigation.
🧭 Customise How It Appears in Navigation
The Navigation setting allows you to rename how the Map section appears in your website’s menu, making it easy for guests to find directions.
📍 Add Places to the Map
The Places feature allows you to add helpful locations to your map, giving guests extra context when planning their trip.
You can add places such as:
• Airports
• Hotels or accommodations
• Parking areas
• Transport hubs
• Nearby points of interest
Each place appears as a pin on the map and can include a short description to help guests understand its relevance.
➕ Add and Edit Places Easily
Click Add places to include a new location. You can edit or update places at any time if details change or new information becomes available.
👀 Preview Before Saving
As you update the Map section, a live preview shows how it will appear to guests before you save your changes.

🚀 Save and Publish With Confidence
Once you’re happy with your Map setup, click Save. If your website is already published, updates will appear live for your guests immediately.
