👁️ How to Hide a Category from the Client Dashboard

Planners can control which categories are visible to clients to create a clearer, more tailored dashboard experience. When a category is hidden, it won’t appear in the client’s navigation or on their overview dashboard.

How Category Visibility Works

Category visibility allows planners to manage what clients can see, helping keep the dashboard focused on only the most relevant sections.

🪄 Step-by-step: Hide a Category

1️⃣ Open the wedding you’d like to update
2️⃣ Navigate to the category you want to hide (for example, To-Do’s or Budget)
3️⃣ Open the category’s settings or visibility options
4️⃣ Toggle off or untick Visible to client
5️⃣ Save your changes if prompted

What Clients Will See
Once hidden, the category will no longer appear in the client’s left-side navigation or as a card on the overview dashboard.

🔄 Show a Category Again
You can make a category visible again at any time by turning the Visible to client option back on.

💡 Best Practice
Use category visibility to simplify the client dashboard and avoid showing internal planning tools that aren’t relevant to clients.
